Website Assistant (Communications)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade the STEAR's website
  • Create appropriate website content aligned with the STEAR's values, missions and strategy
  • Respond to and troubleshoot all website issues
  • Collaborate with the communications portfolio to ensure that the website aligns with brand strategy
  • Create strategies to grow subscribers and web traffic metrics

Qualifications

Mandatory

  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English, including spelling, grammar, punctuation as well as composition, editing and proofing
  • Strong computer skills including a working knowledge of Wix 
  • Good time-management skills

Preferred

  • Knowledge and/or experience with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) 
  • Expertise in design, graphics and layout related to websites
  • Experience working in a multicultural organization 

Hours of Commitment

5-7 hours/week
