[Summary]

This is a Brand manager position at Johnson and Johnson Consumer Korea for Aveeno® to lead the brand with a short- and long-term strategy, marketing campaign, and strategic sales planning. As a stronghold brand in the J&J Consumer Skin Health portfolio, this position will play a pivotal role in leading the portfolio innovation partnered with regional and local key stakeholders.

[Responsibilities]

1) Research & analysis

  • Analyzes key performance indicators and financial reports such as brand sales and offtake
  • Conducts consumer/market research to find new opportunity area and assess the size of prize

2) Brand strategy development & execution

  • Develop business growth strategy and gain cross-functional alignment to develop innovative and achievable business plans
  • Lead retail execution plan partnering with the retail marketing team with BU and cross-functionally with the commercial teams.

3) 360 IMC: Communication planning & execution

  • Develops campaign brief, eco-system, consumer advertising, and marketing programs via systematic assessment of market trends, unmet consumer needs, and competitive activity.
  • Design advanced communication and media plan based on deep consumer insight and media behaviors
  • Flawless execution of IMC and marketing campaign with sense of urgency
  • Displays skills in evaluating effectiveness of marketing tactics and return on investment to identify and provide input on potential areas for improvement

4) Innovation project management

  • Own the project management execution for all brand and product initiatives to deliver expected results
  • Leads the communication with related cross-functional teams

5) Key brand index management

  • Keep track of brand health through appropriate measurement tools
  • Plans and forecasts sales
  • Budget planning and tracking

 6) People Management

  • Supervise a marketing trainee

[Requirements]

  • Bachelor’s degree and above with relative brand management experiences
  • 4+ years of FMCG marketing experience (Beauty industry experience is preferred; not a must)
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Korean fluently
  • Strategic thinking & analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Consumer-centric & agile mindset
  • Cross-functional communication and project management skills with internal (i.e., enabling teams) and external stakeholders (i.e., regional MKT/agencies)
