Job Description:

The Originator generates ideas and assesses opportunities for pitching new business to clients, based on a good understanding of the client’s capital structures, the competitor landscape and deep knowledge of financial markets/regulatory requirements. The Originator is responsible for the preparation of relevant materials and will pitch to new or existing clients with the aim of winning the mandate for the Bank. The Originator will have overall accountability for the smooth execution of transactions working in close partnership with relevant internal functions, ensuring adherence to Bank policy and relevant legal/regulatory frameworks.

Required experiences:

• An investment banking experience of more than 5 years with strong analytical skills, a high level of business curiosity and a self-starter mindset.
• Sufficient experience of execution of M&A advisory or Capital Markets advisory or accounting/consulting experience for corporate and private equity clients.
• Solid understanding of corporate finance and accounting skills, client coverage capacity and experience with good presentation skills
• Strong work ethic, maturity and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as a team player handling a wide range of responsibilities under pressure
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Fluency in Korean and English
