Introduction of BNP Paribas in Korea, and Corporate and Investment Banking

Established in South Korea since 1976 with a full banking licence, BNP Paribas combines global expertise and local know how for the benefit of its customers, from large Korean and international companies to individuals.

BNP Paribas employs over 500 people in South Korea and provides banking, financing, advisory and asset management services to its local and overseas clients, including corporations, financial institutions, and institutional investors.

Among various BNP Paribas’ entities operating in Korea, BNP Paribas Seoul Branch places Corporate and Institutional clients at the heart of its business model. Established in 1976, it is"MsoNormal" style="line-height: 12pt; mso-line-height-rule: exactly">BNP Paribas Seoul Branch varied services propose qualitative products for a company’s daily business transactions, such as Cash Management, E-banking and Local & International Payments. In line with the liberalisation of the local financial market over the last few years, it has widened its offer in both fields, Corporate Banking and Capital Markets.

Internship position / Job description

- Department: Corporate Coverage Korea

- Internship Period: 3~6 months (negotiable, but longer-term preferred) starting from September

- Job Description:

ü  Assisting Relationship Managers (“RM”) and Associate RMs (“ARM”)

ü  Main task will be research, translation related to the corporate clients and financial markets

ü  Other supporting jobs will also be asked for RM’s and ARM’s works

- Requirements:

ü  Fluency in English (mandatory)

ü  Junior ~ Senior (preferred but not mandatory), graduate cannot apply for this position

ü  Basic knowledge in Finance and Accounting, and interest in financial market

ü  Those whose future career goal is working in finance or corporate banking are preferred

- Salary: proper salary payment for internship
