YSB International Excellence Scholarship

Application Announcement for Fall 2026

Yonsei School of Business invites applications from international students (foreign nationals) for the YSB International Excellence Scholarship for the Fall 2026 semester as follows.

1. Scholarship Tracks

 Track 1. Academic Excellence

 Track 2. Korean Language Excellence

2. General Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet all of the following requirements:

 A. Undergraduate students admitted through the international student admissions process at Yonsei School of Business who are in their second year or above

   ※ Dual-degree students and students on leave of absence are not eligible.

 B. Students with no disciplinary record under university regulations (including academic probation)

 C. Students who have completed registration for the Fall 2026 semester

3. Track-Specific Eligibility and Selection Criteria

 A. Track 1. Academic Excellence

 1) Eligibility

  - Completion of at least 12 credits in the previous semester

  - A previous-semester GPA of 3.7 or above on a 4.3 scale

 2) Selection Criteria: Applicants will be selected through the internal selection process of Yonsei School of Business, based on a comprehensive review of their previous semester GPA, number of credits completed, and other relevant academic factors.

 3) Scholarship Amount: KRW 2,500,000 per recipient (Living-expense scholarship, separate from tuition)

 B. Track 2. Korean Language Excellence

 1) Eligibility

  - Applicants must have obtained one of the following Korean language qualifications: TOPIK Level 6 or KLI Level 6 (Yonsei University Korean Language Institute) or Sejong Korean Language Assessment score of 621 or above

  - Completion of at least 12 credits in the previous semester with a GPA of 2.50/4.3 or above

 2) Selection Criteria

  - Applicants who meet the above eligibility requirements will undergo the internal selection process of Yonsei School of Business.

  - The Korean Language Excellence Scholarship may be awarded only once during a student’s enrollment at Yonsei University.

  - Recipients of the YSB International Academic Excellence Scholarship in Spring 2026 will be considered to have already received the Korean Language Excellence Scholarship and are therefore not eligible to apply for this track for Fall 2026.

3) Scholarship Amount: Approximately KRW 1,280,000 per recipient (Living-expense scholarship, separate from tuition)

4. Application for and Receipt of Both Tracks

Applicants who meet the eligibility requirements for both Academic Excellence and Korean Language Excellence may apply for both tracks.

Applicants who are ultimately selected for both tracks may receive both scholarships.

5. Required Documents

 A. Scholarship Application Form (attached)

  - The application form may be completed in either Korean or English.

  - Applicants applying for both tracks should check both Track 1 and Track 2 on the application form and submit only one application form.

 B. Official Transcript Including Previous Semester Grades

  - An official transcript issued through the university’s certificate issuance system must be submitted.

  - Screenshots of the Yonsei Portal or other unofficial records will not be accepted.

 C. Proof of Korean Language Proficiency (Required only for applicants applying for Track 2. Korean Language Excellence)

  - Submit the applicable TOPIK, KLI (Yonsei University Korean Language Institute), or Sejong Korean Language Assessment certificate/score report.

6. Payment Schedule

The scholarship will be paid before the end of the Fall 2026 semester to the bank account registered in the Yonsei Portal.

※ A Korean bank account must be registered in the Yonsei Portal.

경영대학 국제우수학생 장학금

YSB International Excellence Scholarship 선발 공고

경영대학에서 국제학생(외국 국적 학생) 대상으로 2026학년도 2학기 YSB International Excellence Scholarship 장학생을 다음과 같이 선발하고자 합니다.

1. 장학금명 및 선발 부문 

Track 1. Academic Excellence (학업성취우수 부문)

Track 2. Korean Language Excellence (한국어성취우수 부문)

2. 공통 지원 자격

아래 지원자격을 모두 충족하여야 합니다. 

 가. 외국인 전형으로 입학한 경영대학 학부 2학년 이상 재학생

　 ※ 복수학위생 및 휴학생 제외

 나. 학칙에 의한 징계 사실이 없는 자 (학사경고 등) 

 다. 2026학년도 2학기 등록을 완료한 자 

3. 각 부문별 선발 상세 안내 

 가. Track 1. Academic Excellence (학업성취우수 부문)

 1) 지원자격: 직전학기 12학점 이상 이수, 직전학기 평량평균 3.7/4.3 이상

 2) 선발기준: 지원자 중 직전학기 평량평균 및 이수학점 등 종합적으로 고려하여 선발 

 3) 장학금액: 1인 2,500,000원 (등록금 외 생활비성 장학금)

 나. Track 2. Korean Language Excellence (한국어성취우수 부문)

 1) 지원자격 

  - 한국어능력시험 TOPIK 6급 또는 KLI(연세대학교 한국어학당) 6급 또는 세종한국어평가 621점 이상을 취득한 자 

  - 직전학기 12학점 이상 이수 및 평량평균 2.50/4.3 이상인 자 

 2) 선발기준

  - 위 지원자격을 충족한 학생을 대상으로 경영대학 내부 선발 절차 진행 

  - 한국어성취 우수 부문 장학금은 재학 중 1회에 한하여 수혜 가능 

  - 2026학년도 1학기 국제우수학생 장학금 수혜자는 한국어성취우수 부문 기수혜자로 간주하여 금번학기 해당 부문 지원 불가)

 3) 장학금액: 1인 1,280,000원 수준 (등록금 외 생활비성 장학금)

4. 두 부문 중복지원 및 수혜

Academic Excellence와 Korean Language Excellence의 지원자격을 모두 충족하는 경우 두 부문에 중복 지원할 수 있으며, 각 부문에서 최종 선발된 경우 중복 수혜가 가능합니다.

5. 제출서류

 가. 장학금 신청서 1부 (첨부파일)

  - 신청서는 한글 혹은 영어로 작성 가능

  - 두 부문에 모두 지원하는 경우 Track 1과 Track 2를 모두 체크하여 신청서 1부만 제출

 나. 직전학기 성적이 포함된 성적증명서 1부 (인터넷 증명서 형태 제출이 필요하며 포탈 화면 캡쳐본 등 인정하지 않음)

 다. 한국어능력 증빙서류 1부 

  - Track 2 Korean Language Excellence (한국어성취우수 부문) 지원자에 한함)

  - TOPIK / KLI(연세대학교 한국어학당) / 세종한국어평가 성적표 중 해당 서류 제출

6. 지급 시기: 학기 말 전 학사 포탈에 등록된 계좌 지급 (국내 은행 계좌 등록 필수)
